
Punjab Government to Develop Stadium in Hoshiarpur for Cricket and Other Sports: Dr. Raj Kumar
Hoshiarpur- During his visit to Hoshiarpur, Punjab Cricket Association (PCA) Vice-President Deepak Bali met with officials of the Hoshiarpur District Cricket Association (HDCA). On this occasion, Hoshiarpur’s Member of Parliament, Dr. Raj Kumar Chabbewal, was specially present and informed Sushil Bali that special facilities would be provided to promote cricket in Hoshiarpur.
Hoshiarpur- During his visit to Hoshiarpur, Punjab Cricket Association (PCA) Vice-President Deepak Bali met with officials of the Hoshiarpur District Cricket Association (HDCA). On this occasion, Hoshiarpur’s Member of Parliament, Dr. Raj Kumar Chabbewal, was specially present and informed Sushil Bali that special facilities would be provided to promote cricket in Hoshiarpur.
Dr. Raj Kumar stated that the Punjab government is planning to build a modern stadium in Hoshiarpur not only for cricket but also for other sports, which will further boost the sports culture in the state.
PCA Vice-President Deepak Bali said that the Punjab Cricket Association would provide special facilities as needed to cricket associations in every district of Punjab. He noted that in recent years, several hardworking cricketers from smaller districts of Punjab have emerged and are now playing for Punjab and the country. To carry forward this tradition, enthusiastic cricketers selected from each district will be trained under the guidance of excellent coaches.
Praising the Hoshiarpur District Cricket Association (HDCA), he said that the way this association is providing free training to players and preparing them for the Punjab and national teams is commendable.
Upon his arrival in Hoshiarpur, the HDCA honored him. On this occasion, HDCA President Dr. Daljit Khela, Secretary Dr. Raman Ghai, Joint Secretary Thakur Yograj, Vice-President Subhash Sharma, Tournament Committee Chairman Dr. Pankaj Shiv, Amit Thakur, Gaurav Walia, Dr. Raj Kumar Saini, Jasvir Singh, and Coach Daljit Singh also honored him by presenting a memento.
