Hoshiarpur- As part of the campaign being run by the Punjab government against drug abuse, today State awardee Bhai Varinder Singh Masiti, Eye Donor Incharge Tanda, reached Tehsil Complex Tanda and made people aware about drug abuse.
On this occasion, Bhai Masiti informed people about the ill effects of drug abuse on the human body. He explained how a person gradually gets caught in the clutches of drug abuse and causes loss of life and property to himself and his entire family.
On this occasion, Naib Tehsildar Tanda Manpreet Singh said that if a person is caught in the quagmire of drug abuse, then information about it should be given to the administration so that the person caught in the quagmire of drug abuse can be treated at the right time. He said that drug abuse treatment is completely free in all government hospitals of Punjab. On this occasion Bhai Masiti and Naib Tehsildar Manpreet Singh praised the campaign being run by the Punjab Government against drug abuse and advised the people to stay away from bad habits like drug abuse.
On this occasion Bhai Masiti also informed all the officers and employees about blood donation while alive, eye donation after death, and organ donation. On this occasion, apart from others, Kamaldeep Kumar Reader Naib Tehsildar Tanda, Jatinder Pal Singh Office Congo and all the staff members were present.
