Nawanshahr - The BJP government is an anti-people and anti-democracy government, President of Congress Party District Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar Ajay Mangupur told the journalist community. 142 MPs of the opposition party were dismissed in a democratic manner by the Honorable Speaker yesterday, as a protest against which the District Congress Committee Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar staged a demonstration in effigy of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

District President Ajay Mangupur termed this decision of the central government as an insult to democracy and said that the Congress party will strongly oppose it. He urged the people to give a blunt answer to the BJP government in the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha elections and said that if we want to protect the people, then we have to save the country from the BJP government.
