Garhshankar - Practitioner Welfare Association celebrated the birth anniversary of Dhanwantari Maharaj at village Sadarpur with great enthusiasm and devotion. A blood donation camp was also organized on this important occasion. This program was led by Patron Vaid Joginder Singh with the valuable support of President Vaid Harbhaj Mehmi. On this occasion, the exhibition of native herbs and plants remained the center of attraction. In which service was performed by Vaid Ajmer Singh, Vaid Ram Lal, Vaid Manpreet Sood and Vaid Nirmal.
Veed Harbhaj Mehmi gave a memorandum regarding his demands to the Constituency MLA and Deputy Speaker who arrived as the chief guest on this occasion and drew the chief guest's attention to the major difficulties. The Deputy Speaker assured to listen to all the demands and resolve them soon and also assured to arrange a grant of 10 lakh rupees for the dispensary and to arrange a meeting with the Minister of Health Punjab soon. On this occasion, a blood donation camp was also organized by Bhai Ghanhaiya Charitable Blood Center Hoshiarpur. About 50 units of blood donation were collected in this blood donation camp. Dr. Harbhaj Mehmi honored the Deputy Speaker and also thanked the guests.
