
Non-participation of state officials in 'Bharat Sankalp Yatra' is disappointing: Anurag Thakur
Una (Paigam-E-Jagat)- Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur on Sunday said that he is disappointed with the absence of state officials in the central government's 'Bharat Sankalp Yatra'. During a program in Bangana area of Una district, Thakur said that the country is progressing under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and it is wrong for officials not to participate in the program.

Himachal Pradesh is governed by the Congress party and Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu is the Chief Minister. Thakur said that when talking about the works being done for public interest, the state should not make any kind of political discrimination. He said that whether it is a Congress leader or a Bharatiya Janata Patri (BJP) leader, the public elects them for their development and after being elected, everyone should ensure the interest of the public. He said that the state government is celebrating the completion of one year of coming to power but during this time it has not done anything for the public. He alleged that the Congress has completely forgotten its promise of giving women Rs 1,500 per month.
