This information was revealed by Principal Mrs. Sarla Bhatnagar at Veer Haqiqat Rai Model Senior Secondary School, Patiala, during a program organized for the students about the use of scarves. On this occasion, retired Red Cross Training Supervisor Kaka Ram Verma said that by using scarves, it can be used to prevent gases, smoke, heat, mosquitoes and flies from entering your nose and mouth.
While providing first aid to the injured, this scarf can be used as a triangular bandage to immobilize broken limbs, to rescue victims from gases, smoke, water, and debris, and to make a stretcher by tying a scarf with branches, sticks, and sticks. A scarf helps to keep an electrocuted person away from wires or iron objects. A scarf helps to stop the flow of blood as bandages.
Traffic Education Cell Punjab Police Assistant Superintendent Ram Saran informed the students about traffic rules, laws, principles, duties, avoiding drugs, crimes, negligence, haste, speeding, helping victims, and proper use of helpline numbers. On this occasion, more than 100 scout guides of the school were given training in first aid and CPR.
Program Coordinator Nares Kumari and Scout Guide Teacher Deepak Soni expressed their gratitude and said that such information is constantly imparted to their students. It proves to be very useful in saving oneself and the victims during times of crisis.
