The Municipal Corporation team left these families with their belongings at Rain Basere. These children and their families were counseled after reaching Rain Basere.
District Child Protection Officer, Patiala Dr. Shaina Kapur said that according to the instructions of the Deputy Commissioner, Patiala, the destitute people have been brought to Ran Basere today. He said that these families were instructed that instead of living on the streets, they should stay in the slums so that they can raise their children properly by staying there. If these families don't want to stay in the slums, they will not be allowed to live on the streets under any circumstances and such raids will continue in the coming days. In this team, Inspector Munish Puri from the Municipal Corporation and his staff members, District Child Protection Officer, Patiala Dr. Shaina Kapoor, Child Protection Officer (Non-Institutional) Simranjit Kaur, Shalini, Pradeep Sharma, Sunita Yadav and Sukhdeep Singh, Senior Constable Raksha Rani, Constable Gagandeep Kaur and Jyoti from the police department were present.
