Coats, bags and boots were distributed to 80 school students

Patiala, December 4 - The Patiala branch of the social service organization Sri Guru Nanak Dev Slum Society in collaboration with the district administration organized a special event at the Environment Park of Tafzalpura and distributed coats, school bags and boots to 80 needy school students.

Patiala, December 4 - The Patiala branch of the social service organization Sri Guru Nanak Dev Slum Society in collaboration with the district administration organized a special event at the Environment Park of Tafzalpura and distributed coats, school bags and boots to 80 needy school students. Representing the district administration, Pritpal Singh Sidhu, Secretary, Red Cross Society, Patiala, arrived as the chief guest, while District Education Officer Archana Mahajan presided.
On this occasion, Pritpal Singh Sidhu praised the Sri Guru Nanak Dev Salam Society for its social work and assured all possible help to this society in the future as well. Earlier, Sukhwinder Singh Sukhi, president of Patiala branch of the society, welcomed and thanked the chief guest and others. Amrik Singh Bhullar, former project officer of Punjab Forest Corporation and environmentalist, also contributed a lot in making the event a success. Apart from others, Master Hardev Singh, Satpal, Mela Singh, Boror Singh, Dilwar Singh, Baby Sharma, Mohanlal and Ravinder Kamboj were also present on this occasion.
