Patiala, December 4 - The Punjab government is giving approval to new works in public interest. Which the entire Punjab is appreciating. Accordingly, thousands of people living near Patiala's Sirhind-Rajpura bypass are demanding that a bus stop must be built on this route. This was expressed by Jagdev Singh Dhindsa, president of Welfare Association, Patiala rural constituency, and the association members while giving a demand letter to PRTC chairman Ranjodh Singh Hadana.
During the conversation, President Jagdev Singh Dhindsa said that the construction of the new bus stand has greatly benefited the people nearby. But for the people living at a distance from the station, becoming a bus stop will prove to be a boon. Because the people here are forced to take auto rickshaws to go to the bus stand and have to go to the bus stand or on Sirhind Road, it is difficult especially during rains etc. Apart from this, the association wishes the chairman good performance in the department. Also awarded for performing and taking it in increments than before.
Agreeing to the demand of the association, the chairman said that the demand of the people will be fulfilled soon. Instructions were also given to prepare the file soon while taking action on the spot. On this occasion, apart from AAP's Tejinder Mehta, Patron of the Association Brahmdev Verma, Chairman Surinder Singh Thekedar, General Secretary Davinder Singh Khangura, Senior Vice Finance Secretary PS Mittal, Senior Vice President Manjit Singh Dhanoa, Vice President Captain Rachpal Singh, Vice President Rajinder Ashta, Organizing Secretary Surinder Singh, Advisor Mahinder Singh Dubai and other local residents were present.
