
Thousands of people of the district are getting benefit of CM's Yogashala daily
SAS Nagar, October 29, 2024: The aim of CM's Yogashala is to keep people healthy and make life happy, under this series, thousands of people of the state are getting benefited from CM Yogashala by joining the yoga sessions organized daily at various places in the district, which is bringing a big change in the lives of the people. People have taken the path of healthy life and also express their happiness about it.
SAS Nagar, October 29, 2024: The aim of CM's Yogashala is to keep people healthy and make life happy, under this series, thousands of people of the state are getting benefited from CM Yogashala by joining the yoga sessions organized daily at various places in the district, which is bringing a big change in the lives of the people. People have taken the path of healthy life and also express their happiness about it.
Disclosing this, District Nodal Officer of CM's Yogashala and Commissioner of Municipal Corporation Mohali T Benith said that the participants believe that while they are getting healthy with yoga asanas, the community bond is also getting strengthened. While people visiting different parks to do yoga every day increase brotherhood among each other, these yoga classes are also proving beneficial for their health.
He said that hundreds of people come to learn yoga every day at Zorawar Sandhu Park in Phase 10 where the session is from 5 am to 6 am, Beverly Golf Avenue in Phase 11 where the session is from 6.05 am to 7.05 am, Sky Garden in Sector 66 where the session is from 7:20 am to 8:20 am and in the evening at Phase 11 Park No. 3, from 4 pm to 5 pm, Phase 11 Park No. 4 from 5 pm to 6 pm and Senior Citizen Society located in Sector 48 C where yoga classes are conducted from 6 pm to 7 pm. He said that the purpose of organizing classes at different times in a day at different places is to provide 'time slot' to each person according to his convenience.
Instructor Sanjay Saluja, who is giving yoga training in Phase 10, 11, Sector 66 and 48C, said that the participants coming to the yoga classes are getting a lot of benefits from yoga asanas. He said that one of them, Urvashi, who was suffering from liver and BP disease, has got relief from these diseases as well as lost 4 kg of her weight. Similarly, Surinder Saini was also troubled by stiffness in his body, but after yoga, his body has started getting flexible, for which he also expresses his gratitude to the government for these yoga classes.
Sanjay Saluja said that entry of at least 25 persons is mandatory in each session. People can register themselves to participate in these sessions by contacting the website cmdiyogsala.punjab.gov.in as well as a dedicated helpline number 76694-00500. There is no fee for yoga classes.
