Meanwhile, Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal has made a big statement. Talking to reporters on the question of contesting elections in five states, he said that we will contest elections with full strength in Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh.
Earlier, the Aam Aadmi Party won the Punjab Assembly elections and formed the government under the leadership of Bhagwant Mann. Along with this, the party made a strong claim in the Gujarat Assembly elections and won 5 seats. Apart from this, AAP contested the assembly elections in Gujarat for the first time and won about 13 percent votes.
Chief Election Commissioner Rajeev Kumar said, "If the assembly seats of Mizoram, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Telangana and Madhya Pradesh are merged, the total seats will be 679." He said that currently there are 8.52 lakh voters in Mizoram, 2.03 crore in Chhattisgarh, 5.6 crore in Madhya Pradesh, 5.2 crore in Rajasthan and 3.17 crore in Telangana. If all these are seen together, there are a total of 8.2 crore male and 7.8 crore female voters.
