Garhshankar, September 2 - The people of Punjab have been facing floods continuously for the past several days. Due to which there has been a huge loss of life and property of the people. Where the people of Punjab are making great efforts to reach the people trapped in the flood waters with relief materials.
At the same time, Sub Divisional Magistrate Sanjeev Kumar held a meeting with all the NGOs of the area today at the SDM office Garhshankar and discussed the flood situation in the constituency. On this occasion, all the NGOs informed SDM Sanjeev Kumar about the work being done regarding the floods and assured all possible help to deal with the situation arising out of the floods.
On this occasion, apart from President Darshan Singh Mattu and Chairperson Bibi Subhash Mattu of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Charitable Trust, Dr. Bikkar Singh from Jeevan Jagriti Manch, Dr. Tarsem Singh from Universal Charitable Trust, Dr. Lakhwinder Kumar from Raju Brothers Welfare Society, Principal Jagdish Rai from Adarsh ??Social Welfare Society and Advocate Sanjeev Dod from Rotary Club were present.
