Manjot Singh has opposed the return of former ministers and other leaders who left Congress and joined BJP and said that these people with fugitive status cannot be trusted at all and the leaders who have already left the party. While talking to Paigam-E-Jagat, he said that former MLA of Mohali constituency and former minister S. Balbir Singh Sidhu and his brother and Municipal Corporation Mayor S. He has demanded from the Punjab Congress President that instead of doing politics of compromise, he should protect the politics of principles and these leaders with fugitive status should not be included in the party.
