SAS Nagar, October 12 – Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) Chandigarh organized Youth Connect program at Shaheed Major Harminder Pal Singh Government College Sahibzada Ajit Singh under the leadership of Principal Mrs. Harjeet Gujral.
On this occasion, BIS Deputy Director Madam Talika said that products are manufactured as per the standards keeping in mind the safety and health of the consumers. On this occasion, information was given about many important people like ISI, ISU, BIS HUID etc.
On this occasion the students of B. Information was given about downloading IS Quality Connect app and it was told that the student who alerts 25 other students through this app will be given Rs 1500 by BIS in his account. On this occasion B. IS mentor Madam Munisa encouraged the students to be self-aware and make their family members aware.
