Garhshankar October 6 - A ceremony was held at cluster school Kalewal Beet regarding the cluster level sports competition of eight government primary schools under Garhshankar-2 block which was concluded at government primary school Habowal. It was conducted under the leadership of Head Teacher Anuradha Joshi. The performance of Government Elementary School Sihwan in these competitions was commendable. From the school managing committee, Pradeep Rangeela, Balwinder Singh, Jail Singh ex-serviceman, social worker Ram Prakash, Chairman Manjit Kaur and members were highly praised. On reaching the school, he congratulated the students and teachers and wished them well for the block level sports. The results included Kabaddi (Boys), Kho-Kho (Girls), Relay Race (Boys), Tug of War (Boys), 100m Run (Boys). ), won first place in 200m Run (Boys), 400m Run (Boys), 600m Run (Boys), 200m Run (Girls), Wrestling 25kg category (Boys). Won second place in wrestling 30 kg category (boys), shot-put (boys), long jump (boys) and yoga (girls) competitions. Got third place in running 400 m category (girls).
