SAS Nagar, October 6 - Anti-Atrocity and Anti-Corruption Front Punjab President Balwinder Singh Kumbhadra has alleged that the new development of Aam Aadmi Party is being done with 70-year-old bricks.
He said that the work of undergrounding the drains is being done in the village Kumbhara and during this, main holes are being made by cleaning the bricks extracted from the debris of the drains built 70 years ago.
He said that the material that has been used during this time is also not good and only dung tapao work is being done. He said that earlier the Balmiki Dharamshala was also built with old bricks and after six months there have been cracks which can cause loss of life and property. He said that no action has been taken by the Municipal Corporation even after giving a written complaint in this regard.
He said that if this matter is investigated, a huge scam may emerge. They demanded that the matter be investigated and action be taken against the concerned officials.
When contacted, the Corporation's SDO Mr. Dharmendra said that there is no scandal in this matter. He said that old bricks are definitely being used in this work, but these bricks are completely fine and no payment should be made for these bricks, but work is being done only on labor rate.
