48 students of 8th, 9th and 10th participated in the ``Ek Rukh Maa De Naam`` painting competition.

Hoshiarpur- Sat Shri Akal Doaba, under the guidance of Mai Bharat Hoshiarpur, organized a poster making competition at Mary Gold Public School to explain the importance of trees under the ``Ek Rukh Maa De Naam`` program. In which retired HOD of Government College Hoshiarpur. Professor Ajit Singh Jabal, Principal Rupinder Kaur and artist Ashok Puri specially attended. This program was organized under the supervision of retired Inspector Ramesh Kumar, President of Sat Shri Akal Doaba.

48 students of 8th, 9th and 10th participated in the ``Ek Rukh Maa De Naam`` painting competition. Professor Ajit Singh Jabal ji, while judging the paintings prepared in this two-hour painting competition, awarded the first place to the painting of 10th class student 'Chahat', second place to 'Nandini' and third place to 9th class student 'Prerna'.
Speaking on this occasion, Professor Ajit Singh Jabal, describing all the paintings as important, praised Rohini Singh of 10th class and Amrit Raju of 9th class, Bharti Singh, Jasmine, Puneet Kaur, Sanjana Sabharwal and Sukhmani of 8th class and honored them with Certificates of Appreciation.
He also praised the school's art teacher Miss Meena for her excellent preparation. The felicitation ceremony of the program was presided over by Professor Ajit Jabal ji along with Principal Rupinder Kaur, Director Ashok Puri, Musician Vivek Sahni, Art Teacher Miss Meena and President of Sat Shri Akal Doaba Ramesh Kumar. After honoring the students selected in the painting competitions, the chief guest Professor Ajit Singh Jabal, Ashok Puri and Principal Rupinder Kaur were honored.
At the end of the program, Principal Rupinder Kaur thanked Sat Shri Akal Doaba and Mai Bharat Hoshiarpur for this program and expressed her hope to continue organizing such programs in the future as well.
