Talwar couple take pledge to donate organs in case of cardiac death.

Hoshiarpur- Taking an inspiring step for the welfare of humanity, the Talwar couple has decided to donate their bodies after their death. Social worker Sanjeev Talwar said during an event, "This body is perishable, if it is useful in the service of humanity, then there can be no greater work than this."

He said that he and his wife Niti Talwar have taken a pledge to donate their bodies after death. He said that often people's lives end because they do not get the required organs on time. Therefore, if they suffer from cardiac arrest for any reason, their organs should be donated to the needy people.
He said that their family members will carry out this decision with full commitment and this entire process will be done by the Rotary Eye Bank and the Corneal Transplant Society.
On this occasion, the chairman of the committee, Sanjeev Arora, termed this step of Talwar Dampati as an inspiring and courageous decision and said that the decision to donate organs in the event of cardiac arrest is truly a matter of great courage.
 He said that if a few more people also take such a decision, then thousands of lives can be saved every year. During this ceremony, the chairman of Narayan Nagar Sewa Committee, Mrs. Usha Kiran Sood, also took the pledge to donate her body after death.
