DLSA SAS Nagar, Secretary, CJM Ms. Surabhi Prashar, briefed the participants on the details of the campaign. She informed that ‘Mediation for the Nation’ is a 90-day nationwide initiative launched by the National Legal Services Authority (NALSA) in collaboration with the Mediation & Conciliation Project Committee (MCPC). Running from July 1 to September 30, 2025, the campaign seeks to resolve a wide array of pending cases through voluntary mediation in both Sub-Divisional and District Courts.
The campaign primarily focuses on matrimonial disputes, motor accident claims, domestic violence matters, cheque bounce cases, and commercial disputes. Mediation involves a neutral third party who facilitates negotiations between the disputing parties to help them arrive at a mutually agreeable settlement.
