
Voter awareness rally organized in Una to motivate 100% voting
Una, 26 March:- A voter awareness rally was taken out in Una on Tuesday with the aim of ensuring maximum voting by everyone's participation in the general elections. In this activity organized under the SVEEP program, NCC cadets of Government College, Una motivated people to vote 100 percent through an awareness rally from the college to the Deputy Commissioner's office. They made people aware about the importance of voting and exercising their franchise with placards, banners and slogans carrying voter awareness messages.

In this activity organized under the SVEEP program, NCC cadets of Government College, Una motivated people to vote 100 percent through an awareness rally from the college to the Deputy Commissioner's office. They made people aware about the importance of voting and exercising their franchise with placards, banners and slogans carrying voter awareness messages.
On completion of the awareness rally, District Election Officer Jatin Lal appreciated the efforts of all the cadets and organizers in the Deputy Commissioner's office premises. He called upon all eligible youth to register their vote and participate in building a strong democracy by voting. He said that if any youth who will be 18 years of age or above on April 1, 2024 has not yet got his/her vote done, then he/she should definitely get it done. Registration in the voter list can be done till May 4.
Everyone should participate in the folk festival of democracy
The District Election Officer said that under the SVEEP in Una, voters are being made aware through various types of new and traditional activities. Voter awareness efforts are being made by involving all departments and educational institutions. Speech, Rangoli and other competitions are also being organized in educational institutions to create voter awareness.
He said that the effort of the district administration is that on the voting day on June 1st, all the voters in the district come out of their homes and exercise their franchise. For a strong democracy, all voters should participate in the public festival of democracy and exercise their franchise in the right manner.
On this occasion, Additional Deputy Commissioner Mahindra Pal Gurjar, SDM Vishwamohan Dev Chauhan, NCC Convener Ashwini Kumar, Election Law Officer Harjeet Singh and others were present.
