In violation of the rules, a 100 feet long and 4 feet wide canal was dug in Mera Khad.

Mining and forest mafia in Garhshankar is unknowingly doing illegal mining here and there, so this mafia has dug a big drain in village Mera Khad to save a private building. Whereas according to the rules, no person can remove stones from the said pit or throw stones there without permission.

Garhshankar August 29 (Manjinder Kumar Pansara) Mining and forest mafia in Garhshankar is doing illegal mining here and there in ignorance, so this mafia has dug a big drain in village Mera gorge to save a private building. Whereas according to the rules, no person can remove stones from the said pit and can't throw stones there without permission. But this movement is being done openly by the mining mafia adjacent to Garhshankar Nangal Road, but no concrete action has been taken by the Forest Department Garhshankar despite the passage of three days.   It is worth mentioning that a private building without any CLU has been constructed in Mera Ghad by flouting all the rules. But till date the forest department has not taken a single step against the builders of that building. When it rains in village Mera gorge, a lot of water comes at high speed and now due to the construction of building in it without any permission, the flow of water will change. According to the sources, in order to protect the said building from the water coming at a high speed during the rains, a drain more than 4 feet deep and 100 feet long was dug in the ditch itself by installing JCV and the department came to know about it. was The JCV employee and the drain digger escaped before this and the department officials arrived.   After which the officials of the forest department reached the spot and saw the dug drain, but even after three days, no action was taken by the department. The water of more than half a dozen villages passes through here and if the flow of water stops during heavy rains, flooding may occur. Ukat Khad comes under Section 4 and 5 of the Forest Department. If any work is to be done here, first permission has to be obtained from the forest department. A person standing while digging the pit did not give his name but said that this pit has been bought by our owner and now we don't need permission and we can do anything in the pit. What has to be said by the Block Officer of the Forest Department, Kiran Kumar :- Soon notices will be issued to the concerned people, after which appropriate action will be taken.
