Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, August 20: MLA Kulwant Singh said here today that under the leadership of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, a completely conducive environment has been created for the players in the state. As all the necessary facilities and guidance are now available to the players under one roof, they are taking more interest in the sports fields.
He was talking to the press at the Aam Aadmi Party office in Sector-79, where he released the poster of the wrestling dangal to be held as part of the Mela Baba Gosai Wala event on August 25 (Monday) at village Gigemajra.
MLA Kulwant Singh said that the government is not only giving cash prizes to the players, but also making efforts to provide them permanent employment, so that they can spend more time in the sports fields and bring glory to Punjab.
On this occasion, Sarpanch Satnam Singh said that the fair is being organized by Baba Gosai Wala and the villagers of Dangal with mutual brotherhood.
