Punjab: An example of mutual brotherhood in the land of saints

Hoshiarpur- Punjab is such a holy land where the tradition of saints, saints, pirs and fakirs has always given the message of peace, unity and love to the society. Taking forward this tradition, at the Darbar Hazrat Mast Baba Bodianwale held in village Bihala, Member Lok Sabha Dr. Raj Kumar Chabbewal bowed down and took blessings and said that it is a matter of great fortune to be associated with such holy places.

A large number of devotees attended this holy occasion of the Jor Mela. Dr. Chabbewal said that the cultural heritage of Punjab is based on mutual brotherhood and harmony. Here people respect each other by rising above caste, religion and class. He said that Jor Melas are not only a symbol of religious faith, but they are also a symbol of social unity and tradition. These fairs work to bring people together.
The MP said that the teachings of the saint-mahatma are still guiding the society and inspire us to live with mutual love, cooperation and service. He appealed to the Sangat to stay away from the evils like drugs spreading in the society and to give good morals to their children. 
Dr. Chabbewal congratulated the Gram Panchayat and the organizing committee for the successful organization of the fair and said that through such events, the common heritage of Punjab is further strengthened.
