Chandigarh- After three close attempts in the last eight years, 28-year-old Veena Praveenar Singh has finally won the Miss Universe Thailand 2025 crown. Representing Saraburi, Veena defeated 76 contestants, including Praewwanich 'Praew' Ruangthong of Bangkok (first runner-up) and Narumon 'Dale' Pimpakdee of Phuket (second runner-up), in the grand finale held at the MGI Hall in Bangkok on August 23.
Born on April 16, 1996 in Chiang Mai to Indian parents, Veena later became a naturalized Thai citizen. She is a graduate in Russian Studies from Thammasat University. Her pageant journey began in 2018 when she finished second runner-up in the competition. Veena came even closer as the first runner-up to Amanda Obdam in 2020, and then secured the second runner-up spot in 2023.
The Miss Universe Thailand organization honored Veena's journey so far with a message on Instagram, which read, "True effort never betrays a believing heart."
