Una, August 27- In compliance with the orders of the Supreme Court, an updated list related to the voters of Bihar state temporarily residing in Himachal Pradesh has been released. This list is of those voters whose name was recorded in the Bihar Electoral List of the year 2025 (before draft publication) but was not found included in the preliminary draft list published on August 1, 2025.
Deputy Commissioner Una Jatin Lal said that the name of each voter has been recorded in the list with the reason, which includes categories like dead, permanently transferred, absent and double entry. This list has been prepared assembly and polling station wise of each district of Bihar state and it has been made available at the offices of the Chief Electoral Officer, Bihar, all District Election Officers and the official website of the State of Bihar.
He said that the voters of Bihar residing in Himachal Pradesh can also get information about their entry in this list with the reason through their EPIC number. Besides, this list has also been displayed in all the block offices, panchayat offices, municipal body offices and polling centres of Bihar state.
The Deputy Commissioner informed that if any voter is dissatisfied with his entry, he can submit his claim or objection in the concerned office by attaching a copy of his Aadhar card.
