MLA Jimpa inaugurated a tubewell built at a cost of Rs 29 lakh in Mohalla Central Town

Hoshiarpur- Taking another important step towards further improving the drinking water facility for city residents, MLA Bram Shankar Jimpa today formally inaugurated a tubewell built at a cost of Rs 29 lakh in Mohalla Central Town of Ward No. 31. On this occasion, he dedicated this tubewell to the public in a program organized in the presence of local residents and dignitaries.

On this occasion, MLA Jimpa said that continuous efforts are being made to strengthen basic facilities in Hoshiarpur city under the leadership of the Punjab government. He said that the demand for water increases in summer and in such a situation, installing new tubewells will ensure uninterrupted water supply to the people of the area. He said that it is the priority of the government that clean and adequate drinking water is available to the people in every ward.
MLA Jimpa said that the people of Central Town area were facing water crisis for a long time. Now with the commencement of this tubewell, this problem will be solved permanently.
On this occasion, Mayor Surinder Kumar, Deputy Mayor Ranjit Chaudhary, Councilors Monica Katna, Balwinder Katna, Amarjit Sharma, Gurdev Saini, Madan Dutt, Balraj Singh Chauhan, Councilors Dapan Saini, Puneet Badhan and Dharamvir Badhan were also specially present.
