Chandigarh, June 13 - Haryana Power Minister Mr. Anil Vij has suspended JE (Junior Engineer) Sanjay Kumar of the Power Corporation for not replacing the faulty power transformer in Chandpura village of Ambala Cantt even after 15 days.
In this regard, the villagers of Chandpura village of Ambala Cantt had complained to Energy Minister Mr. Anil Vij, on which he took immediate action and directed to suspend the JE. The villagers alleged that the power transformer in Chandpura was faulty for several days and in this regard, they had complained to the JE of the Industrial Area about 15 days ago. 
But till now neither the transformer has been repaired nor has it been replaced. Taking strict action in this matter, the Minister directed to suspend the JE, who has been suspended with immediate effect. 
It is noteworthy that Energy Minister Mr. Anil Vij had earlier instructed the Power Corporation officials to restore power supply by replacing or repairing the faulty transformer within one hour in urban areas and within two hours in rural areas. 
It is worth mentioning that while taking action on the complaint of the villagers, where the JE has been suspended, the faulty transformer has also been replaced by the Power Corporation.
