New Delhi, June 6- A Delhi court on Friday extended the judicial custody of 26/11 Mumbai attacks accused Tahawwur Hussain Rana till July 9. Special Judge Chandrajit Singh passed the order after Rana was produced before him through video conferencing after the expiry of his earlier judicial custody.
Meanwhile, the judge sought a status report from Tihar Jail on Rana's health condition by June 9 as his lawyer had raised concerns about his well-being.
Rana, a close aide of 26/11 mastermind David Coleman Headley alias Dawood Geelani, was brought to India on April 4 after the US Supreme Court rejected his review petition against his extradition to India. The court had sent him to judicial custody last month.
