MGSIPA organised training programme on leadership and capacity building.

Hoshiarpur- A three-day training programme on leadership and capacity building organised by MGSIPA for officers and employees of various departments of Hoshiarpur district under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Hoshiarpur Ashika Jain concluded today. Regional Project Director Jalandhar Pirthi Singh said that 29 officers participated in this training programme organised at the District Administrative Complex.

Hoshiarpur- A three-day training programme on leadership and capacity building organised by MGSIPA for officers and employees of various departments of Hoshiarpur district under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Hoshiarpur Ashika Jain concluded today. Regional Project Director Jalandhar Pirthi Singh said that 29 officers participated in this training programme organised at the District Administrative Complex.
During the training, various resource persons gave informative and experience based presentations on 10 subjects and imparted practical education. These subjects include motivation, communication, team building, stress management, time management, leadership style and role, emotional intelligence, conflict management, ethical leadership topics, how to emerge in such situations and how to keep the atmosphere of office and society positive, etc.
Training was given on honesty towards one's duty, reaching office on time, respecting outsiders and treating them with great love as soon as possible without wasting their time. One should make this a habit and love one's fellow employees like a family. Apart from this, tips to keep the body healthy were also shared.
The resource persons included Dr. Avan Kumar Vaid, Principal Rajeshwar Salaria, Retired Deputy District Education Officer Karanbir Singh, Retired Deputy Zonal Manager Punjab National Bank, Dr. Sarla Nirankari Principal and Dr. Amanpreet Kaur. The participants gave online feedback and expressed their views that such training should be given to the officers and employees of all offices and departments every month.
They thanked the Deputy Commissioner Hoshiarpur and MGSIPA as well as the Department of Personnel and Training of the Central Government. In the end, MGSIPA thanked the Deputy Commissioner and District Officers for their cooperation in the past and in the future as well. The program concluded with a group photo.
