Hoshiarpur- Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain informed that Punjab Governor Gulab Chand Kataria is coming to Hoshiarpur on June 8. During this, he will inspect the de-addiction and rehabilitation center and review the de-addiction efforts. After this, he will address the members of the Gram Raksha Samitis in a special program organized at DAV College of Education.
Addressing a meeting organized with the officials of various departments in the district administrative complex regarding the preparations for this visit, the Deputy Commissioner said that all the necessary preparations are being made for the visit of the Governor. The Deputy Commissioner said that to make the visit of the Governor successful, the security arrangements and all the preparations of the program are being finalized.
He said that the concerned departments have been instructed to work smoothly during the program. He said that all the departments should work in mutual coordination regarding the arrangements of the program. He also instructed the officials to finalize all the preparations on time and not to show any kind of negligence in the work.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development) Nikas Kumar, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Amarbir Kaur Bhullar, Commissioner Municipal Corporation Dr. Amandeep Kaur, SDM Hoshiarpur Gursimranjit Kaur, RTO Sanjeev Kumar Sharma, DSP Manpreet Shimar, Civil Surgeon Dr. Pawan Kumar, Secretary Red Cross Society Mangesh Sood and officers of other departments were present in the meeting.
