Deputy Commissioner inspected the land selected for the Gauvansh Sanctuary

Una, February 19- Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal visited Gram Panchayat Naganoli on Wednesday and inspected the land selected for the proposed Gauvansh Sanctuary. 397 kanal land has been identified in Labana Mazra of Naganoli, where the Gauvansh Sanctuary will be constructed at a cost of about Rs 4.50 crore. An amount of Rs 2.75 crore has been approved from the government for the first phase of this project.

Una, February 19- Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal visited Gram Panchayat Naganoli on Wednesday and inspected the land selected for the proposed Gauvansh Sanctuary. 397 kanal land has been identified in Labana Mazra of Naganoli, where the Gauvansh Sanctuary will be constructed at a cost of about Rs 4.50 crore. Jatin Lal said that after the complete construction of the Gauvansh Sanctuary, there will be a provision for 500 Gauvansh to stay in it. 6 sheds will be built here, out of which 5 sheds will be for Gauvansh and one shed will be for fodder. Apart from this, other facilities will also be constructed along with the construction of Pharmacist Residence, so that the smooth operation of the sanctuary can be ensured.
The Deputy Commissioner informed that for the construction of Gauvansh Abhyaar, the land has been transferred to the name of Animal Husbandry Department and necessary approvals have also been obtained from the Forest Department. At present, the demarcation work is in progress. The Deputy Commissioner directed the officers to complete it by March 20. He said that as soon as the demarcation work is completed, the fencing work will be started through HPSIDC.
On this occasion, senior Congress leader Ranjeet Rana, SDM Haroli Vishal Sharma, Pradhan Mehtab Thakur of Gram Panchayat Naganoli, Executive Engineer of HPSIDC Surendra Katana, Dr. Smriti of Animal Husbandry Department, Ashok Kumar from Forest Department and other officers and dignitaries were present.
