Chandigarh/Hoshiarpur- Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann has today expressed deep grief over the horrific accident that took place in village Mandiala of Hoshiarpur district in which two persons died and 21 others were injured due to an explosion in an LPG tanker.
Expressing grief and sorrow over the incident, the Chief Minister expressed his heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims. He prayed to the Almighty to grant eternal rest to the departed souls and give the families the strength to bear the loss. Meanwhile, the Chief Minister announced a financial assistance of Rs. 2 lakh each to the families of the deceased.
He said that he is constantly monitoring the entire situation by keeping in touch with the district administration. Bhagwant Singh Mann further said that instructions have been issued to the district administration to ensure free treatment of all the injured. He prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured.
