Garhshankar- The work of wheat procurement in the markets under Garhshankar has been completed! Giving information in this regard, Sardar Baldeep Singh Saini, Chairman of Market Committee Garhshankar, said that this year 8 lakh 32 thousand 972 quintals of wheat have been purchased in the markets of Market Garhshankar.
Due to the thorough arrangements made by the government in the markets, no landowner has faced any difficulty in selling his crop. He also informed that during this season, procurement agencies like Pungrain 314499 quintals, Punsup 243345 quintals, Markfed 154833 quintals and FCI 120295 quintals of wheat have been purchased or taken away in the markets.
They also informed that the payment for the farmers' crops has also been deposited in their accounts!
