Hoshiarpur- An important meeting of Youth Congress workers was held today under the leadership of District Youth Congress General Secretary Pranav Kripal, in which the illegal mining in Garhshankar Assembly constituency was seriously discussed. On this occasion, Pranav Kripal said that illegal mining is being done on a war footing in Garhshankar Assembly constituency.
He said that so far 18 deaths have occurred in Garhshankar Assembly constituency due to tippers doing illegal mining. He said that illegal mining is being done in the Garhshankar Assembly constituency with the connivance of political leaders and administrative officials. He said that Youth Congress will launch a mass movement against illegal mining and will go from village to village and mobilize people against illegal mining.
He said that if the government does not take concrete steps against illegal mining, then a strong movement will be launched. On this occasion, Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee member Pankaj Kripal Advocate, Rohit Kumar, Sachin Nayyar General Secretary Youth Congress Assembly Constituency Garhshankar, Sunny Sharma, Manjinder Monowal, Jagtar Sadhowal, Prakash Singh Lambardar, Harbhajan Singh Lambardar, Asha Rani, Palwinder Singh, Bittu Rana, Subedar Surinder Rana etc were present.
