Una, May 16- The visionary thinking of Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu towards revolutionary change in the field of education in Himachal Pradesh is now taking shape on the ground. Under his inspiration and leadership, the state government is establishing Rajiv Gandhi Government Model Day-Boarding Schools in every assembly constituency. In the coming days, these state-of-the-art institutions will prove to be the mint of self-confident youth through quality education.
These schools will have education from pre-primary to class 12th and they will be run as per CBSE curriculum. Modern facilities like high-tech smart classrooms, playgrounds, indoor stadiums, swimming pools, music rooms will be provided in the schools, which will become a strong basis for the all-round development of the students.

The pace of progress is fast in Una district-
Deputy Director of Higher Education Department in Una district Anil Kumar said that the necessary procedural formalities have been completed in all the five assembly constituencies of the district Una, Haroli, Gagret, Chintpurni and Kutlehar and steps are being taken rapidly towards the construction work.
Janakpur Haar in Una assembly constituency, Badhera in Haroli, Sanghnai in Gagret, Ladoli in Chintpurni and Bangana (Boat) of Kutlehar have been identified as construction sites. Rs 2.50 crore has been received in Sanghnai of Gagret assembly constituency and the construction work is going on at a fast pace. Rs 1.50 crore has also been received in Badhera of Haroli. Construction work will be started soon at other sites as well.
Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal said that this construction work is being done with full readiness in accordance with the visionary thinking of Chief Minister Shri Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu. Each school will be built on more than 100 kanals of land, in which ample space will be ensured for academic and co-curricular activities.

Other public representatives and local citizens including Sanghnai Panchayat Pradhan Isha said that with the establishment of these schools, rural students will now get the best, competitive and modern education near their homes.
