
Farmers forced to spend nights in mandis - Bance
Nawanshahr, October 2 - An emergency meeting of Kirti Kisan Union District Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar was held. During the meeting, District President Surinder Singh Bains and District Secretary Tarsem Singh Bains said that dry paddy warehouses are available in the mandis, but the procurement agencies did not come to the mandis.

During the meeting, District President Surinder Singh Bains and District Secretary Tarsem Singh Bains said that dry paddy warehouses are available in the mandis, but the procurement agencies did not come to the mandis.
Due to which farmers are forced to stay in the mandis at night. Kirti Kisan Union appeals to the Deputy Commissioner Nawanshahr that the paddy of the farmers should be filled in the mandi immediately. Because the work of harvesting paddy has just started. If the paddy is not filled by October 3, then farmers from all over the district will sit on a dharna at the Deputy Commissioner's office on October 4. All farmer unions, commission agents, labor organizations and farmer heroes are requested to reach on time on October 4 at exactly 11 am.
District Secretary Tarsem Singh Bains, Paramjit Singh Shahabpur Nawanshahr Area President, Surinder Singh Mehrampur and Block Presidents, Nirmal Singh Malpur Adaka, Ram Ji Dass Sanawa, Avtar Singh Skohpur, Jivan Begowal, Balveer Singh, Mohan Singh Langroa, Jagtar Singh Jadla, Makhan Singh Bhanmajra and Ram Ji Dass Sanawa were present on the occasion.
