20th February Nawanshahr- Mahashivratri Festival is being celebrated with great pomp on 26th and 27th February in the ancient Shiv Mandir Maheshana of village Bains with the cooperation of villagers, all the Sadh Sangat and NRI Veers.
Giving information, Mahant Shiv Kumar Pathak said that on 21st, 22nd and 23rd February there will be Prabhu Pad and on 24th February a grand Shobha Yatra will be taken out in which the tableaux will be worth seeing. On 26th February Wednesday there will be Mahashivratri and Jhanda Rasam and on 27th February the Jyot Prachand will be lit and Mahadev's Bhandara will be organized in great numbers.
During this time the arriving artists Arun Rana, Alisha, Bunty Sharda and Balwinder Sonu will make the Sangat happy by singing the praises of the Lord.
