
Border Tension: A Literary Message for Peace and Harmony.
Nawanshahr- Deep concern was expressed today under the banner of Navjot Sahitya Sanstha Aur for the atmosphere of tension between India and Pakistan and a call for peace and harmony was given by lighting candles for the welfare of the people. The office bearers and members present appealed that everyone should create a movement with unity for the eradication of terrorism and the protection of communal harmony.

The president of the organization, Surjit Mazari, and secretary, Rajinder Jassal, encouraged the army standing at the borders to protect the country and called their services the honor and glory of the country. Former presidents of the organization, Satpal Sahlon and Gurner Sher, also supported the above views and said that today there is a need to be serious to eliminate the elements that kill people and there should be no politics on such issues. The speakers also appealed to the people to be aware of the terror and misleading misunderstandings being spread on social media.
On the occasion of this gathering, besides the above, Pyara Lal Bangar, Dr. Kewal Ram, Davinder Skohpuri, Binder Mallah Bedian, Hari Kishan Patwari, Dees Raj Bali etc. also shared their views on the issue of peace in prose and poetry.
Thus, the founder of the organization Gurdial Roshan and former president Rajni Sharma shared a message wishing for peace between the two countries.
