Hoshiarpur- In a simple ceremony today at Dana Mandi, Jaspal Singh Chechi assumed the charge of Chairman of Market Committee Hoshiarpur. On this occasion, he first of all saluted the brave soldiers guarding the country's borders and paid respect to them. Chechi said that today when the country is struggling with the attacks being carried out by Pakistan, it is the duty of every citizen to work unitedly in the interest of the country and society.
He appealed to the people to fully follow the instructions issued from time to time by the district administration and perform the duty of a responsible citizen.
Jaspal Singh Chechi expressed special gratitude to Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann for this important responsibility and assured that he will work with full honesty and integrity while maintaining the dignity of this post. He said that the progress of the state and the interests of the farmers are paramount for him and he will protect the interests of farmers, commission agents and traders at every level.
The chairman talked about paying special attention to the arrangements of the mandis in view of the wheat procurement season. He assured that every farmer coming to the mandi will be given full facility and support so that they do not have to face any kind of trouble.
On this occasion, his mother Bhajan Kaur, brother Ajaypal Singh Chechi, sisters Neelam Rani and Promila Rani, wife Sonia Rani, Bhabhi Asha Rani, Numberdar Channyani Khurd Husan Lal Chechi, Pawan Kumar and other dignitaries were present.
