Mohali- The first meeting of the newly elected Governing Body of Mohali Press Club was held under the chairmanship of Club President Sukhdev Singh Patwari in which various issues were discussed. During this, the Governing Body discussed four agendas related to organizing the Foundation Day celebrations of the club, making a website, arranging tours for club members and formation of various committees.
On this occasion, the General Secretary of the Club Gurmeet Singh Shahi said that in the meeting, the Governing Body constituted various committees, in which Rajinder Singh Taggar was made the Chairman of the Screening Committee and Jaswinder Rupal and Baljeet Marwaha were made members, while Sandeep Bindra was made the Chairman of the Kitchen Committee and Sagar Pahwa and Ritesh Raja were made members, Arun Nabha was made the Chairman of the Cultural Committee and Amarjit Singh and Amandeep Singh were made members, Harinder Pal Singh Harry was made the Chairman of the Discipline Committee and Amardeep Singh Saini and Kulwinder Singh Bawa were made members.
Saroj Kumari Verma and members Nahar Singh Dhaliwal, Kulwant Gill, Mangat Saidpur and Sana Mehndi were appointed as the chairman of the welcome committee, Gurmeet Singh Randhawa and members Pal Kansala and Rajiv Kumar Sachdeva were appointed as the chairman of the purchase committee, Gurnam Sagar and members DN Singh, Malkit Singh, Anil Kumar Garg and Praveen Kumar were appointed as the chairman of the maintenance committee, Kulwant Singh Kotli and members Davinder Singh, Amarpal Singh Noorpuri and Harminder Singh Nagpal were appointed as the chairman of the seminar committee, Sukhwinder Singh Manoli and members Rakesh Hampal and Ujjwal Singh were appointed as the chairman of the sports committee. Similarly, Gurjeet Singh (Jyoti) and member Amandeep Gill were appointed as the chairman of the digital web committee to look after the club's website and social media. During this, apart from the president and general secretary of the governing body, C. Vice President Sushil Garcha, Vice President Manjit Singh Chana and Vijay Pal, cashier Rajiv Taneja, organizing secretary Neelam Thakur, joint secretary Dr. Ravinder Kaur and Vijay Kumar were present.
