Hoshiarpur- Staff and management committee of JSS Asha Kiran Special School Jahankhelan are doing a great job for special children. Due to which special children are preparing themselves for the future life and we all should provide equal opportunities to these children to move forward. So that they do not consider themselves inferior to anyone, this view was expressed by AAP Lok Sabha member from Hoshiarpur Dr. Raj Kumar Chabbewal while addressing a function organized at Asha Kiran School here and also announced a grant of Rs 10 lakh for the welfare of Asha Kiran School and special children.
It is worth mentioning that a few days ago, the students of Asha Kiran School were the overall winners in the cultural program Umang Season-7 organized among special children. Today, during the function organized in the school, Dr. Raj Kumar Chabbewal specially arrived to honor the students participating in this competition. Dr. Raj Kumar Chabbewal said that these special children are really special and every section of the society should get an equal share to improve their lives.
He said that every effort is being made to implement the schemes being run by the Punjab Government and the Center at the ground level and clear instructions have been given to the officials that the specially abled people visiting government offices should not face any kind of problem and the work should be done on priority basis. Dr. Raj Kumar Chabbewal assured full cooperation to Ashadeep Welfare Society in future as well. During the function, the students of JSS Asha Kiran Teacher Training Institute, who participated in the success of Umang Season-7, were also honored.
On this occasion, Paramjit Singh Sachdeva, Patron of Ashadeep Society, thanked Dr. Raj Kumar Chabbewal for visiting the school and also shared information about the activities being conducted for special children in the school. On this occasion, Society President Harbans Singh, CA Taranjit Singh, Secretary Colonel Gurmeet Singh, Malkit Singh Maheru, Mastan Singh Grewal, Ram Asra, Harmesh Talwar, Barinder Kumar Course Coordinator, Principal Shaili Sharma etc were also present.
