Una, July 11- Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) 2.0, eligible poor families of Municipal Corporation Una area are being provided financial assistance of Rs 2.50 lakh to build their own pucca house. The Municipal Corporation administration has so far received 215 online applications under this scheme, out of which verification of 118 has been completed, while the process of the remaining applications is in progress.
Joint Commissioner of Municipal Corporation Una Manoj Kumar said that interested eligible families can apply online till July 31 through the unified web portal of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) 2.0 or the nearest Lokmitra Kendra.
All eligible families of the Municipal Corporation area can apply in this scheme.

This will be the eligibility-
The eligible family for the benefit of the scheme, which includes husband, wife and unmarried children, should not have their own pucca house. The annual income of the family should be 3 lakhs or less. It is necessary to have land ownership in the urban area. 
Financial assistance of up to 2.5 lakhs will be provided to the eligible beneficiaries in three installments. The first installment will be given on completion of the house foundation work, the second installment on completion of the work up to the roof and the last installment on completion of the construction of the house.

Documents required for the scheme-
Manoj Kumar said that to avail the benefits of the scheme, Aadhar card of all the members of the family, copy of the applicant's bank account, land ownership documents, income certificate and affidavit are mandatory. Municipal Corporation Commissioner and ADC Una Mahendra Pal Gurjar has appealed to the eligible families to apply on time and take maximum benefit of this beneficial scheme. He says that Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) is a golden opportunity for those urban families whose annual income is up to Rs 3 lakh and who are still deprived of their own pucca house. He has appealed to all the eligible families to apply in time and fulfill their dream of having a house by taking advantage of this scheme.
