Giving this information, Baljinder Mann, editor of Nikkian Karumbalan and renowned children's literature writer, said that more than 800 students, 200 teachers and about 25 children's literature writers from all over the world participated in this grand event organized for the first time in the history of the world. In this grand children's writer conference organized under the leadership of Project Incharge Onkar Singh Teje, 21 students of Hoshiarpur district arrived under the leadership of Chief Editor Pradeep Singh Mauji, Kewal Kaur, Sat Prakash, Geetanjali, Nitan Suman and Madam Promila.
These students showed great talent with their pens in the competitions organized in this conference. The specialty of this conference was that students were seen doing everything from the chief guest to the stage management. Three pandals were set up for primary, middle and secondary classes. In the main pandal, renowned actress Baljit Sharma led the children by conducting the stage in Rasili Bhasha. 27 child writers were given cash prizes of Rs. 11 thousand for the first place, Rs. 7100 for the second and Rs. 5100 for the third place in the Sardar Arjan Singh Bath Memorial Shiromani Children's Writer Awards.
Books written by about a dozen children's literature writers were also released. Kulwant Singh Dhaliwal, Ambassador of Cancer Roko Mission, was present in a dignified manner. Sukhi Bath thanked everyone for their support and said that this project of his will continue with your support for the prosperity of mother tongue Punjabi. These students have the potential to become Surjit Patar and Amrita Pritam.
Baljinder Mann specially joined the competition as a judge of this international conference. Harveer Mann, Editor of Karumbalan News, also played a supporting role with him.
