Punjab Bhawan-Surrey Canada honours P. Bahadur Singh Gosal

Chandigarh: A press note issued by the office of Vishwa Punjabi Prachar Sabha, Chandigarh has informed that during the International Children's Writers Conference being held at Akal College of Physical Education, Sri Mastuana Sahib, Principal Bahadur Singh Gosal, President of Vishwa Punjabi Prachar Sabha Chandigarh, was specially honored by the founder of Punjab Bhawan-Sri Canada, Mr. Sukhi Bath. Principal Gosal was given a memento and cash as a token of honor.

Principal Gosal was given a memento and cash as a token of honor.
This international conference being held at Sri Mastuana Sahib was organized for the children's writers of Punjab. The aim of this conference was to encourage children and instill the art of writing from an early age and to instill love and respect for the mother tongue Punjabi in the hearts of children. In this conference, competitions like poetry reading, essay writing, story writing and Bhangra were organized for children. A special invitation letter was sent to the famous Punjabi writer and renowned children's writer Principal Bahadur Singh Gosal. On this occasion, Principal Gosal, Dr. Darshan Singh Asht and Baljinder Mann played a special role for the judgment.
Principal Gosal was honored by the organizers of Punjab Bhawan-Surrey Canada for his role as a judge in children's competitions and for his literary experience. Jagtar Singh Jag, Senior Vice President of Vishwa Punjabi Prachar Sabha, Chandigarh and writer Baljinder Kaur Shergill were also present on this occasion. The organizers included the founders of Punjab Bhawan-Surrey Canada, Mr. Sukhi Bath, Mr. Okar Singh Teji, Harjinder Singh Sandhu, Manpreet Kaur Mumbai, Mandeep Kaur, Baljinder Mann and the college administrators.
Principal Bahadur Singh Gosal thanked Mr. Sukhi Bath and other administrators for this special honor. Mr. Jagtar Singh Jag and writer Baljinder Kaur Shergill said on this occasion that it is a matter of honor for Principal Gosal to receive this honor on such an international platform and they congratulated Principal Gosal on receiving this honor.
It is important to note that thousands of children from different districts of Punjab and Ganganagar in Rajasthan came under the supervision of their teachers to attend this conference. These children were divided into different age groups, and big cash prizes were kept for the children who came first, second and third in each age group. Due to which the children arrived fully prepared and in large numbers.
