SAS Nagar, April 23- The massacre committed by terrorists in Pahalgam by firing on tourists who had come to visit Kashmir is being condemned from all sides. In this regard, representatives of various political parties, social workers and organizations are expressing their condolences to the victim families.
Senior Deputy Mayor of Municipal Corporation Amrik Singh Somal said that this act of unarmed tourists and terrorists is cowardly and it has also exposed the claims of the BJP government in power at the Center to improve the situation in Kashmir. He said that it is the responsibility of the Central Government to take strict action against the terrorists.
Deputy Mayor Kuljit Singh Bedi condemned this incident and said that this incident has shaken the whole country. He said that this is the time to stand with the victim families and share their grief and at the same time strict steps should be taken to eliminate the terrorists.
The Indian Association of Lawyers, while strongly condemning the killing of 26 innocent tourists and injuring many others in Pahalgam (Jammu and Kashmir) by the Punjab unit, has demanded from the government that the culprits should be arrested immediately and given the harshest punishment. The state general secretary of the organization, Advocate Jaspal Singh Deepar and spokesperson Advocate Darshan Singh Dhaliwal said that in the meeting held under the chairmanship of the state president of the association, Advocate Naval Kumar Chhibber, sympathy was expressed with the bereaved families. During the meeting, it was said that this attack by the terrorists has been done to harm the peace, brotherhood and harmony in the country.
The speakers said that this attack by the terrorists has been done in a planned manner to tarnish the image of the people of Kashmir. The speakers said that all political parties, social workers, democratic forces should raise their voice against this heinous act and oppose it by preventing the designs of anti-national forces from succeeding. On this occasion, it was demanded that the state and central government should investigate where the security lapse happened, while thousands of tourists come here every day from the country and abroad, but why the government has not made proper arrangements for their security.
During this, former BJP councilor Arun Sharma, Ashok Jha, Hardeep Sarao, Bobby Kamboj and BJP leader Kulwinder Anand condemned this massacre during the meeting here and demanded from the central government that the terrorists behind this conspiracy should be killed by taking them out of their hideouts and their masters sitting in Pakistan behind this conspiracy should also be killed by entering their homes. He demanded that the families of the martyrs should be given a compensation of five crores and the injured should be given free treatment and compensation.
Muslim community leader Dr. Anwar Hussain condemned the massacre of innocent people killed in the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir and said that this attack reflects the failure of the central government. He said that the Government of India has completely failed to provide security to the people of Kashmir and the tourists visiting Kashmir and to hide the government's failure regarding security, some people are spreading poisonous propaganda on social media, during this time Muslim and Hindu politics is being done by giving a wrong color to the terrorist attack.
He has demanded from the central government and the army chief that the terrorists who carried out this incident should be caught and given strict punishment. Ame Foundation Chairperson and social worker Abha Busal has condemned the terrorist attack on tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. Paying tribute to those killed in the massacre, she demanded the central government to take concrete steps against the terrorists. She said that the terrorists who opened fire on the tourists after asking their name and religion should be given death penalty.
