Senior Deputy Mayor of Municipal Corporation Amrik Singh Somal said that this act of unarmed tourists and terrorists is cowardly and it has also exposed the claims of the BJP government in power at the Center to improve the situation in Kashmir. During this, former BJP councilor Arun Sharma, Ashok Jha, Hardeep Sarao, Bobby Kamboj and BJP leader Kulwinder Anand condemned this massacre during the meeting here and demanded from the central government that the terrorists behind this conspiracy should be killed by taking them out of their hideouts and their masters sitting in Pakistan behind this conspiracy should also be killed by entering their homes. He demanded that the families of the martyrs should be given a compensation of five crores and the injured should be given free treatment and compensation.

Ame Foundation Chairperson and social worker Abha Busal has condemned the terrorist attack on tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. Paying tribute to those killed in the massacre, she demanded the central government to take concrete steps against the terrorists. She said that the terrorists who opened fire on the tourists after asking their name and religion should be given death penalty.
