Nawanshahr April 23- Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) New Democracy District Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar today paid tribute to 26 innocent people killed in Pahalgam at the local Baradari Bagh and then demonstrated in the city against the incident. The party has demanded the resignation of Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
Condemning the killing on this occasion, party leaders Kulwinder Singh Waraich, Daljit Singh Advocate said that the religion-based mass murder in Pahalgam, in which 26 innocent people have lost their lives and many others have been injured, is an extremely heinous, cruel and reprehensible act, we strongly condemn it. It is not in the interest of any religion or any freedom struggle.
Everyone should strongly condemn this. It is a matter of satisfaction that people in Kashmir, especially Muslims, have come out on the streets against this heinous act. He said that according to our investigation, four major mass murders have taken place so far. Now the Pahalgam mass murder has taken place. There are two things common in all these three. Firstly, a particular group was targeted in all these, Sikhs in Chattisgarh Pura, Central Reserve Police in Pulwama and Hindus in Pahalgam. Secondly, all these are connected to a particular incident.
The Chattisgarh Pura incident took place when US President Bill Clinton had come to India, the Kaluchak incident also took place during his US tour, the Pulwama incident took place when elections were about to take place in the country and the Pahalgam incident took place when US Vice President JD Vance was on a visit to India. The second aspect is that this incident took place when the Waqf Amendment Act passed by the Modi government was being strongly opposed across the country. All these things make it suspicious. Therefore, there should be a high-level judicial investigation into it. Statements of responsibility in the media do not matter. Manipur has been suffering from bloodshed for a long time.
Many such incidents have happened, but neither Amit Shah nor Prime Minister Narendra Modi took the trouble of going to Manipur, but here Amit Shah came and sat in Kashmir and Modi returned leaving his Saudi Arabia trip midway. The policy of communal polarization of federal fascism can give nothing but bloodshed and destruction to the country and the people. People will have to fight strongly against it.
