Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, 17 September 2025: Under the leadership of District Education Officer (DEO) Dr. Ginni Duggal and under the guidelines of Samgra Shiksha Abhiyan, the Zone Level Art Festival of SA S. Nagar district was organized on 16 September at St. Soldier International Convent School Phase-7 Mohali. In this competition, a total of 72 teams from six districts of the zone Patiala, SAS Nagar, Sangrur, Barnala, Fatehgarh Sahib and Malerkotla participated in various competitions. The teams that came first at the district level in each district participated in this competition. A total of 12 different events and competitions were organized in the zone level art festival, in which students from various schools of Patiala district were the winners in Vocal Music Solo, Vocal Music Group, Instrumental Music Percussive, Instrumental Music Group, Visual Art 2D and Visual Art 3D. Schools from Sangrur district were the winners in Solo Dance and Visual Art Group. The Millennium School Phase-5 Mohali in Instrumental Music Melodic and S.S.S.S. Jhanjeri in Dance Group were the winners in Mohali district. The winning students were honored with certificates and trophies.
On this occasion, District Education Officer (DEO) Ginni Duggal distributed prizes to the winning teams and encouraged the winners and said that such competitions highlight the hidden talent among the students. She gave her best wishes and blessings to the winning teams for the state level Kala Utsav competition.
