
Every grain of wheat brought by farmers in the market will be purchased - MLA Dr. Sukhi.
Nawanshahr/Banga- MLA Banga Dr. Sukhwinder Kumar Sukhi today started the purchase of wheat in the grain market of village Mahil Gehlan of Banga assembly constituency. On this occasion, Sohan Lal Dhanda, convener of Punjab Sikh Kranti Assembly Banga was also with him. On this occasion, Dr. Sukhwinder Kumar Sukhi said that every grain of the farmers' crop will be purchased and during the entire season, no problem will be allowed to the farmers, commission agents, laborers and any section associated with the purchase process.

During this, he talked to the farmers who came to the market and ordered the concerned department to make all necessary arrangements in view of the problems arising due to deteriorating weather. On this occasion, Secretary of Banga Market Committee Varinder Kumar said that last year 41525 quintals of wheat came to Mahil Gehlan Mandi, in which the money for all the wheat purchased was deposited directly in the farmer's account.
He told that today on the day of opening of the market, 500 to 600 quintals of wheat came to the market for sale, all of which was purchased at the MSP price fixed by the government. The money for the crop sold to the farmers will be transferred to the farmers' accounts within 24 hours. The J Form of the sold crop is being sent digitally to the farmer's mobile, while farmers have been appealed that the moisture content of the wheat should be 12 percent at the time of purchase of wheat crop.
Farmer brothers should take care of this beforehand and bring only the crop with 12 percent or less moisture to the market. On this occasion, retired Principal Harjit Singh Mahal, Sukhjinder Singh Noura, Munita Kural, Anshu Kural, Gurtirth Singh, Sarpanch Balbinder Kaur, Jaspal Singh Mahal, Lambardar Charanjit, Amarjit Singh, Sandeep Singh, Amit Mahal along with farmers and commission agents were present.
