Thalassemic Charitable Trust PGI-GMCH and Department of Transfusion Medicine PGIMER Chandigarh is organizing its 312th Blood Donation Drive on 19th April 2025 (Saturday) at Patel Market (Parking Area), Sector 15, Chandigarh.
Dr (Professor) RR Sharma-HOD, Director of Department of Transfusion Medicine PGIMER and Shri Rajinder Kalra, Member Secretary of Thalassemic Charitable Trust informed that Thalassemia is a chronic blood disorder in which the patient needs regular blood transfusions throughout his life.
They appeal to all social organizations, voluntary blood donors and other religious/social communities to donate blood for this noble cause for thalassemic patients whose lifeline is blood and other needy/critical patients who require blood.
