
PNB provided insurance benefit of Rs 1 crore to the family of martyr Dilawar Khan
Una, October 21 - Punjab National Bank (PNB) provided life insurance benefits of Rs 1 crore under the 'PNB Rakshak Yojana' to the family of martyr Dilwar Khan who was martyred in Srinagar. This financial assistance was handed over to martyr Dilwar Khan's wife Jameela by Divisional Head Arvind Saroch and Deputy Divisional Head Kishore Babu at PNB RSETI office Chandra Lok Colony Una on Monday.
Una, October 21 - Punjab National Bank (PNB) provided life insurance benefits of Rs 1 crore under the 'PNB Rakshak Yojana' to the family of martyr Dilwar Khan who was martyred in Srinagar. This financial assistance was handed over to martyr Dilwar Khan's wife Jameela by Divisional Head Arvind Saroch and Deputy Divisional Head Kishore Babu at PNB RSETI office Chandra Lok Colony Una on Monday.
On this occasion, besides martyr Dilwar Khan's father Karmadin, mother Bhola Bibi, and son Junaid, Deputy Director of District Sainik Board, retired Lieutenant Colonel S.K. Kalia and Leading District Manager Lahri Mal were also present. It is known that Army Jawan Dilwar Khan of Gharwasda village of Bangana sub-division was martyred on 24 July 2024 while fighting terrorists in Kupwara, Jammu and Kashmir.
Divisional Head Arvind Saroch said that Punjab National Bank always discharges its responsibility and will continue to provide the best services to its customers in future also. The 'PNB Rakshak Yojana' run by PNB is specially designed for the soldiers who dedicate their lives protecting the country. Under this scheme, if a soldier dies, his dependents are provided with immediate financial benefit of Rs 1 crore without any formality. Under this scheme, a cheque of Rs 1 crore was handed over to the wife of martyr Dilwar Khan.
