These words were expressed by Block Pradhan of Punjab Subordinate Services Federation Narinder Ajanoha, Makhan Singh Langeri, District Leader Amarjit Kumar, Paramjit Katib and General Secretary of Mid-Day Meal Workers Union Punjab sister Kamaljit Kaur Kharari while leaving the block with a group of employees for the rally organized in Jalandhar Desh-Bhagat Yadgar Hall. The leaders said that every section including laborers, farmers, employees and general public is unhappy with the Punjab government.
Employees and pensioners are struggling against the government due to the government's indifference towards their legitimate and fair demands such as old pension, lump sum arrears of pay commission and dearness allowance, reduction in 37 allowances, ACP, 2018 service rules, new education policy, not to close middle schools, increase in the salary of mid-day meal workers, Asha workers and Anganwadi workers, outsourcing, recruitment and regularization of all types of temporary employees, 2.59 coefficient for pensioners, cancellation of central pay commission, reduction in the number of posts, merging computer teachers in the education department and many other legitimate demands.
The leaders demanded that the Punjab government should resolve the demands of the employees and pensioners soon. On this occasion, the employees raised slogans against the Punjab government. On this occasion a large number of employees including Satnam Singh, Tekchand, Gurnam Chand, Omkar Singh, Sagli Ram, Surjit Singh, Surinder Singh, Amarjit Singh, Vinod Kumar, Baljit Singh, Baljinder Singh, Sarwan Singh, Gurmeet Singh, Manjinder Singh, Ravinder Kumar, Satpal, Parminder Singh, Rajan, Gurmukh Singh, Rakesh Kumar, Kuldeep Singh, Om Dutt, Gurjeet Singh, Manjit Singh Balwinder Kaur, Surinder Kaur, Kulwinder Kaur, Harbans Kaur, Lovepreet Kaur, Radha, Gurpreet Kaur etc were present.
